Paul Lester CBE
Paul Lester joined Greenergy International Ltd in October 2010 as Non-Executive Chairman. Previously Paul was Chief Executive of support services company VT Group Plc and Group Managing Director of infrastructure services business Balfour Beatty Plc. Paul has held numerous Board and senior management positions at other engineering and support service companies. Paul is currently a non-executive director of Invensys Plc and is the Chairman of the John Laing Infrastructure Fund, Norland Managed Services, Peverel and Survitec Group.
Andrew Owens MBE
Andrew is the Chief Executive and co-founder of Greenergy and has been working in the oil industry for over 30 years. Andrew has a chemical Engineering degree from Imperial College London, actively leads the engineering within Greenergy, and retains links with the college by occasional lecturing and by holding workshops at its business school.
Chief Financial Officer
Stephen joined Greenergy in 2005 as the Chief Financial Officer of Greenergy Biofuels and has subsequently fulfilled numerous roles including
Managing Director of Greenergy Terminals. Stephen is a chartered accountant and has over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry including roles with Amerada Hess and The BOC Group plc.
Tamara has over 20 years’ experience in the oil industry including the last 15 years with Greenergy. Before joining Greenergy, Tamara worked with Safeway and BP in various roles. Tamara’s portfolio includes major client contracts, logistics, customer service, regulatory affairs and biofuel sustainability.
Chief Operating Officer
Paul has been the Chief Operating Officer of Greenergy since he joined in 2007 and brings over 30 years' experience in the downstream oil sector. Prior to joining Greenergy, Paul worked for Conoco Phillips as the Head of European Refining and Asset Development and spent 15 years with Louis Dreyfus. Paul oversees the day to day trading operations of the company, as well as health & safety, commercial, marine, inland trading and biodiesel production.
UK Trading Director
Starting with Greenergy over 14 years ago, Caroline has worked in numerous roles within Greenergy. As Greenergy’s UK trading director, Caroline is responsible for the group’s sales and purchasing strategies within the UK. Caroline has helped champion Greenergy’s rapid sales and customer growth, and leads the complex supply chain activities with the major oil companies.
Chris joined Greenergy in January 2015 as Infrastructure Director. This is a newly created directorship reflecting the company's expanding infrastructure activity. Chris brings significant experience of infrastructure and project management from his time at Texaco, Harvest Energy and Summit Power. In addition to his position at Greenergy, Chris also leads activity to regenerate the former Coryton refinery to create an enterprise park and import terminal.
