UK operations
National supply capability
With our own import infrastructure in key demand locations and lifting rights at inland locations, Greenergy has unique national supply capability. Our integrated operations enable us to manage fuel supply chains from refinery gates to customer sites – importing, storing, blending and distributing fuel and managing stock levels for our customers.
Logistics
24/7 in-house haulage operations
Our in-house haulage and logistics operation, Greenergy Flexigrid (‘Flexigrid’), operates from key locations nationwide to ensure supply resilience for our extensive customer network. The Flexigrid fleet is made up of over 250 tankers and more than 700 drivers and supported by a UK-based customer care and scheduling team.
Renewable fuels
Biodiesel production at Teesside
Greenergy owns and operates a biodiesel manufacturing facility at Teesside in the North East of England. The plant produces biodiesel from a range of waste-derived feedstocks, including used cooking oil and other waste oils and fats, helping to reduce reliance on virgin feedstocks.
The biodiesel produced at Teesside is blended into road transport fuels to help lower lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared with fossil diesel, supporting customers' use of renewable fuel within existing diesel vehicles and infrastructure. The facility forms an important part of Greenergy's integrated fuel supply network and reflects our continued investment in renewable fuel production and operational efficiency.
