Our business is built around an integrated supply chain that provides resilience, flexibility and security of supply. We source a wide range of fuels from global markets, manufacture renewable fuels, and import, store, blend and distribute products through strategically located infrastructure before delivering them to customers across a range of sectors in different regions.
By integrating these activities, we are able to respond to changing market conditions, optimise supply routes and maintain reliable fuel supply across the regions where we operate. This integrated approach is fundamental to how we create value for customers and manage risk across our business.
Biofuel sustainability
Renewable fuels manufacturing
Greenergy is Europe's largest manufacturer of waste-based biodiesel, with production facilities in Teesside, UK, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
We continue to invest in our manufacturing facilities to increase production capacity, improve operational efficiency and expand the range of waste oils and fats that can be processed into renewable fuel. These investments help strengthen supply resilience while supporting the growing demand for lower-carbon transport fuels.
Our unique global supply chains enable us to source and produce renewable fuels in the most efficient way to supply our customers.
For our own production, waste oils are collected from restaurants and other food producers around the world and delivered to our manufacturing facilities in the UK and the Netherlands.
We have built long-term trading relationships with waste oil collectors and aggregators globally while investing in our own collection business in Australia with Greenlife Oil.
With these diverse global supply relationships, we are able to:
Ensure sourcing of the most appropriate grades of used cooking oils to meet our growing production requirements
Demonstrate supply chain traceability back to the restaurant or food producer, to ensure that each litre of used cooking oil really is a waste.
